Extensions to your CR Experience... Panama or Nicaragua!
Some of our schools choose to explore Panama or Nicaragua for a few days at the beginning or the end of their itinerary.
Bocas del Torro (in Panama) is a short trip from Puerto Viejo, on the Caribbean side of CR. Panama offers world class snorkeling and another Central American cultural experience for your students.
Nicaragua is a short drive from the Guanacaste region of CR. Nicaragua offers more opportunities for cultural exchange through community service, the colonial city of Grenada for some historical perspective, the arts in Masaya, and the island of Ometepe, in the middle of Lake Nicaragua.
