Costa Rican Adventures is a family-run company which has dedicated 10 years to creating a healthier and more sustainable planet through eco-centered travel. Named one of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine's Best Ecotourism Operators of 2004, we offer experiences for travelers of all ages to personally connect with the natural wonders of the Earth.

Our travelers visit Costa Rica, Belize and Panama, exploring the rainforest, the cloud forest, the white sand beach and the coral reefs. More than just a hiking trip (or a rafting trip...or a jungle tour), our adventures are an active exploration into the cultural, biological and geographic aspects of the rainforest and our own impact on the world around us.

Our EcoVacations are adventure tours that are tailored for families, groups, and individuals. They blend active rainforest exploration, relaxing hot springs, hiking trips, beach time, and indigenous cultural exploration, all in one adventure.

Our EcoClassroom provides learning excursions for teachers and their students germaine to the studies of tropical ecology, environmental science, biology and Spanish; imagine eight or ten days of environmental education all wrapped up in the most amazing trip of a young student's lifetime. Many of our groups have come back to travel with us for three, four and five years in a row.

Looking for a teen summer adventure? Check out our summer EarthConnect, an expanded version of our school trips which include homestays, community service and language programs. And all of our guests are invited to hike to or take a boat to Punta Mona, our beachfront organic farm and sustainability center, where they explore alternative energies and an incredible array of fruits.
